Love Is...

I have decided to make a St. Valentine's Day post a few days early.  Today is the 15th anniversary of my Mom's death and the day before Ash Wednesday.  Each year this time of year reminds me of the important things I have been blessed with in my life.  I am now at a point in life where I can think of my Mom today with more thoughts of happiness, thankfulness and joy than of sadness.  I am a better person {and mother} because of her and for that I am thankful.

I have decided that this month I am going to memorize 1 Corinthians 13:1-13.

I've always loved that particular scripture and it was part of our wedding too.

So...Jenny  kindly took the time to make it even easier for anyone to memorize this scripture as she made some post-it notes that can be easily placed around your home {or office} to look at from time to time during your day.

This is why I like it best...

Love is patient and kind;

love is not jealous or boastful;

 it is not arrogant or rude.

Love does not insist on its own way;
it is not irritable or resentful;

 it does not rejoice at wrong, but rejoices in the right.

Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.

  Love never ends.

  1. I'm sorry about your mom. Today surely is a difficult day. I love the Corinthians quote and I loved seeing the beautiful pictures of your family which depict this love so beautifully! :) <3 Thanks, Ann-Marie!!!

  2. Hi Theresa,
    Thanks for stopping by! I didn't quite make it to do a CWA this week, but, had this planned for a little while. Glad you enjoyed the pictures. It's a nice way to remind myself how very blessed I am while memorizing 1 Corinthians 13:1-13 too :-) Hope you are well and have a very blessed Lent!

  3. Oh and I forgot to add...I really need to stop by Ora still!
    I miss being there!

  4. Hugs, Ann-Marie, as you remember your Mama. Those we love are gone but never far from our hearts until we meet again. It sure aches something fierce, tho! Your photos are like one big bundle of love and joy...just perfectly beautiful to go with that wonderful scripture. Such sweetness here! Enjoy a loving St. Valentine's Day and hugging those little men:) P.S. LOVE that song you are playing!
